Primary Research:

primary research is a type of research where you personally collect information by yourself and not from outside sources.

Secondary Research:

secondary research is a form of research that uses already existing data from external sources.

Quantitive research:

Quantitive research basically involves the process of collecting and analyzing data to predict, control or describe variables of interest.

Qualitative research:

Qualitative research is obtained by data form the researcher via a first hand observation, questions, focus groups, interviews etc.

Work Research

This is where I will put all the research that I have done for my news report.

These Websites are what I used for my research on the Nvidia RTX 30 Series graphics.

The first website I investigated was Nvidia's official website where I was able to get two sources of information that are present in my news report.

The first one being the specifications of said graphics card, pricing as well as some preview slides and videos of the graphics card at work.

The second source I used in my report was on the unveiling of the graphics card where they revealed the design, running some games on the highest graphic settings to showcase it's power as well as giving us a release date for the graphics card.

The second website I used for my report was PCGamesN where I discovered their competitor Radeon were making a new mountain bike which was an odd direction to go considering the fact that Radeon is a computer based company and rival to Nvidia and Intel.

The third website I used for information for my report was a website called Trusted Reviews that I discovered about a month into finding information for my news report, I learned via the article that Radeon where also making ray-tracing graphics cards that may potentially even more powerful compared to Nvidia's new line of graphics cards as well as a better pricing.

The fourth and final website I reference in my news report is an article from Game Rant talking about the rise of scalping and scalpers, from the PS5, Xbox series X and Nvidia graphics cards being unavailable online due to individuals on the internet using bots to bypass pages and order thousands of consoles and PC parts and reselling it three times the price online (Note: this was only briefly referenced in the news report due to it being published while at the final stages of production.)
